Here is how the Friday Fax is under attack. Here is why the other side
would love to see the Friday Fax close down. Here is why we need your
financial help right now....
About a month ago I sent around an invitation to Friday Fax readers asking
if any of you would like to attend a special UN panel on maternal
mortality. You may remember getting the invitation. It went to everyone on
my list. The panel, sponsored by the US government, was a vitally
important discussion on how to help women who come into medical danger
when they are pregnant. Pro-abortion types seem to think the only thing
pregnant women need is what they call "safe-abortion." This panel was
formed to explore what they really need, like penicillin and other basic
medical interventions.
Our invitation came to attention of Planned Parenthood, the largest
abortion provider in the world. They took umbrage at our invitation and
sent an alert to their global email list asking their supporters to write
directly to the US Ambassador to the UN, John Danforth, complaining that
Friday Fax readers had been invited to the panel! That's right. They
complained that YOU MIGHT COME!
Planned Parenthood complained bitterly that C-FAM, who publishes the
Friday Fax, has been allowed to invite people to this meeting. They seem
to think that the only ones welcome at the UN are those who support or
perform abortions!
Friends, two things. If the Friday Fax had not been here, you would not
have known about the maternal mortality panel. Two, if not for the Friday
Fax our people would not have been there to support the US as they came
under attack from pro-aborts for even holding the panel.
Dear Friends, we need $100,000 per year to keep the Friday Fax going. This
goes for a small salary for our reporter.
A small amount goes to all the technical computer aspects that allow this
to be published like clockwork every Thursday afternoon.
And a lot of this goes to the printing of the regular mail edition that
goes to thousands internationally (not everyone has a computer and they
need the Friday Fax, too!)
We come to you twice a year asking for half our total amount. We come to
you now and for the next five weeks asking for $50,000. Are there 500 of
you who can contribute $100? That is all we need. Are there 1,000 of you
who can contribute $50?
We began our campaign last week and we raised $3205.69. Friends, we've got
a ways to go to hit our goal. I am used to starting out slowly, but oh my,
not this slowly.
I urge you to stick it in the eye --- charitably of course --- of those
icky Planned Parenthood folks by going to
Donations - C-Fam and contributing to keeping the Friday
Fax going. Remember, we only need 500 folks who can contribute $100. Can
you help right now? Go to Donations - C-Fam
You can also mail us a check at

I am profoundly thankful for whatever you can give but give as much as you
can!
Yours sincerely,
Austin Ruse

C-FAM
PS As you read for the first time in the Friday Fax a few months ago,
the head of Planned Parenthood, Gloria Feldt, makes close to $500,000 per
year. Abortion sure pays well. I could publish the Friday Fax for five
years on that money. So, friend, go to Donations - C-Fam and give as much as you possibly can.
