From Martin Gillespe:

Dear Friends -

Some of you must be feeling nauseated like me right now, as I just watched Bill Clinton lecture our nation on the virtues of John Kerry. It is scary to see the Clinton crowd so energized and committed to reclaiming the White House.

But we need to be even more enthusiastic about defending our values in this election and standing up for President Bush's record. Our efforts are working, despite the tens of millions of dollars Democrats are spending through their shadow groups to defeat our President. And who are they trying to elect? John Kerry, a man who:

-Voted at least SIX times against the ban on partial birth abortions;
-Voted to allow federal money to distribute morning-after abortion pills in America's schools;
-Voted against requiring parental notification for a minor child's abortion;
-Voted against the federal Defense of Marriage Act in 1996, joining only 13 other Senators;
-Pledged to nominate ONLY those individuals to the Supreme Court who would uphold Roe v. Wade.

Perhaps you have never been involved in the political realm before. And while I am not necessarily imploring that you to get out (at least today) to work precincts and run phone banks, I am asking that you at least help to expose John Kerry's campaign of deception to confuse Catholics.

Please forward this email to your Catholic friends, family members and associates around the nation. As Catholics, we have a moral obligation to expose the real John Kerry so that Catholic voters are not confused and know what their true choices are in this election. Thank you for your continued support.

PS- John Kerry picked a Vice Presidential candidate in John Edwards who is just as hostile to our values. More on that soon.....
